My Top Five Places to Buy Natural Hair Care Products

We all know the euphoric feeling that comes along with buying a new product. Its like Christmas, when we get something that we've always wanted to try. Though the natural Hair Care products can be a bit harsh on your pockets, I've found a few places that I frequent due to their great Deals.
  1. Vitacost: This at the top of my list because they usually have great specials, I try to get things when they're doing their free shipping special. They sell everything from dietary supplements, to natural oils, and shampoos and conditioners. The best part is a lot of the products they sell are certified organic so you can get everything you need all in one place.
  2. Whole Foods: I absolutely love buying products from whole foods. They have a wide variety of natural hair care products. I usually buy my  shampoo, aloe Vera gel and vegetable glycerin there for when I make my own products. I just love the fact that you can buy groceries that are good for your body and products that are good for your hair all in one place.
  3. Walgreens: When I first heard about Shea Moisture, this is where I went. When they first started carrying it, they were doing the whole line for buy one get one free. This deal was promoted heavily on youtube by many naturals and this is how I heard about it. Along with Shea Moisture they have a few select natural hair products and skin care products that I love. I usually go there if I need something last minute because they're open late and its right by my house.
  4. Amazon: Amazon is a great place to buy almost anything. I usually get natural hair books on amazon for a fraction of the price.
  5. Target: Last but not least is Target. Target is a great place to buy hair care products as well. However, it is a bit pricey. This is usually my last ditch place to buy if I don't want to order online and everywhere else is out.

One Year Natural Hair Journey / Update

Hair fell out by June 2010... Didn't really have to big chop I just got it shaped up

April 2011, A little dry but still getting the hang of it

Ok guys so this is my one year update, I went natural in June 2010 because my hair fell out from bad perms and lack of proper care. As you can see due to my hair care regimen my hair has made quite some progress from June 2010, to now June 2011. The first year was a little rough but I do have the hang of it now, I have learned a lot over the past year and have also made a lot of mistakes with my hair. The upcoming year should be a breeze for me as I am trying to reach BSL length by my two year mark. I am sure that goal is attainable with the regimen that I have now perfected. Please feel free to comment and subscribe. Thank you
